I asked everyone on my Instagram what they think the first day of fall is. It was overwhelmingly September 1, which was quite surprising to me. A lot of my friends in real life have said fall doesn’t start until September 22. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments when fall begins for you!
BTW, there’s a pretty high chance that I’ll be sharing an additional post with you every single week this month as my birthday gift to all of you! So here is your second post of the week, this is the last post before my birthday!
I know I created a summer bucket list, and I was thrilled to share it with all of you. As the summer comes to a close, I didn’t make a majority of the items on my list. But the second time is a charm, right? I can ~totally~ do my fall bucket list.
My Summer 2025 Bucket List
I was scrolling through TikTok and I came across a video of someone sharing their summer bucket list, and I thought I’d share mine. Here is the video that inspired and sparked this post.
Autumn is my favorite season. There’s something so special about watching the leaves changing color and everything. Wearing a sweater and jeans without a jacket is pretty much my favorite thing ever!
BTW, some of these are actually the same. Sorry, not sorry. You’ll also notice that this list is a lot shorter than my summer one!
Anyways, here’s what's on my list:
Go apple picking and pumpkin picking: This is something that I love to do every single year. It doesn’t feel like fall unless I do this. So that’s the number one thing on my list.
Leaf peeping adventure in Central Park: I love going to Central Park and looking at the trees changing color, and of course, snapping some autumnal photos.
Do a food crawl: Yes, this was something that was on my summer bucket list, and I didn’t exactly get it. I did eat my way through Chinatown recently, but it was a lot of old and familiar spots. However, I am planning to do a Momo crawl with a friend sometime in September.
Go to more bookish events: Last year, I went to like millions of book signings, and this year, I haven’t gone to many. I love attending events and learning more about authors’ writing processes.
Focus on my TBR: I love buying books, which is something that most of you know. I love reading, but I’m reading a lot slower than last year. My goal is to stick to reading the books that I already own ( or use my KU, Libby, and audiobook subscriptions). That being said, after I post this, you’ll likely see a little book haul (because of my birthday). Maybe I’ll also share a fall TBR!

Finish some book series: This is another bookish goal of mine, but I have a habit of starting different book series and only reading the first book. I do prefer to read stand-alones, but we’ll see how many series I’m in the middle of and take it from there.
Finish my Buffy re-watch: In theory, this should be super easy to do since I’m already on the third season, and there are seven. I haven’t rewatched the show in over a decade, so I’m really enjoying my rewatch because it’s almost like I’m watching it for the first time. It’s also giving me so much outfit inspo!
5 Items I'm Rocking This Fall To Channel My Inner Buffy The Vampire Slayer
At the end of August, I decided to rewatch the entirety of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” This is a beloved show that I used to watch growing up. I am not sure how young I was when I started to watch this, but I do know I was obsessed. I haven’t rewatched the show in over a decade, and I decided it was time. Spooky season is here, so there is no better tim…
Take a class: I would love to take some kind of class this fall. I am not 100% sure what type of class I want to take, but I know I love trying new things. I would love to take a cooking class, a cocktail class, or a crafty class. However, the itch might be scratched with a trip to Happy Medium or something like that.
Go To The Blaze: I was asking
what I should add to my bucket list, and she suggested this spot! I’ve never been before, but it’s been all over my feed, so maybe I’ll go this year! If you’re one of my irl friends reading this list, let me know if you want to go!A Weekend Getaway: This was on my summer bucket list, and I didn’t get to it, but I would love to go somewhere upstate for a night or two. A day trip out of the city could also be a super nice option, too!
I am going to keep this list short and sweet, in hopes that I can ~actually~ accomplish it. If you want to see what I get up to this fall, follow me on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok! And remember, everyone is welcome in Beccaland.
